Official high school/secondary school transcripts must include grades from 9th through 11th grade as well as courses being taken in the 12th grade. Early Decision applicants are encouraged to submit first marking period grades, when they become available. Regular Decision applicants will be required to submit mid-year grades from 12th grade, when they become available.
Applicants studying in an international exam-based curriculum, must submit:
All official high school transcripts
Final exam results (for example IGCE/GCSE, CBSE X/AISSCE X)
Predicted exam results, if available.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - 7, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - 100 (Internet-based test), 75 (Paper-delivered test).

The Department of Physics and Astronomy offers undergraduate and graduate programs for a wide range of interests. The bachelor of arts degree with majors in physics or astronomy is suitable for students who wish to obtain a broad liberal arts education with a concentration in a physical science. The bachelor of science degree with majors in physics, astrophysics, or chemical physics provides preparation for employment or further study in physics, astrophysics, and related technical fields. Upon completing the BS degree with a major in Physics and a major concentration in Computational Physics, students will be able to: Demonstrate a solid foundation of knowledge in physics and deeper knowledge of subdivisions of the field related to their interests. Identify, formulate, and solve challenging scientific and technical problems as encountered in physics. Read basic scientific literature and communicate scientific results orally and in writing with scientists and the general public. Conduct directed research.
