All requested materials must be submitted by the established deadline.
In addition to the general UCF graduate application requirement, applicants to this program must provide:
Official, competitive GRE score taken within the last five years.
One official transcript (in a sealed envelope) from each college/university attended.

Letters of recommendation (encouraged but not required)
Faculty members may choose to conduct face-to-face or telephone interviews before accepting an applicant into their research program.
A TOEFL computer-based score of 220 or 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (or equivalent score on the paper-based test) or 6.5 on the IELTS is required unless otherwise specified by the program.
A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or its equivalent from a foreign institution and a GPA of 3.0 or more (on a 4.0 maximum) in all work attempted while registered as an undergraduate student OR 3.0 GPA (or equivalent) or better in all work attempted while registered as an upper division student working for a baccalaureate degree, OR
A graduate degree or professional degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or its equivalent from a foreign institution in a field related to the discipline of the program to which the student is applying.

The Master of Science in Cyber Security and Privacy program will provide high-quality cybersecurity graduate education, advance cyber security and privacy research, and address the issues of state, national and international cybersecurity.<br><br><br>The Master of Science in Cyber Security and Privacy program provides students with an in-depth education geared toward meeting the needs of business and industry in Florida and throughout the United States.<br><br><br>Students successfully completing this program will have exhibited breadth as well as depth of capability involving both theoretical aspects and practical considerations and applications of cyber security issues in software, hardware, operating system, and various networked devices.<br><br><br>This proposed program will be offered jointly by College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) (Department of Computer Science), College of Business Institute of Simulation and Training (IST), College of Sciences (Department of Psychology), College of Community Innovation and Education (Department of Criminal Justice). The degree will be housed in CECS due to its requirement for students with primarily STEM backgrounds.
