All applications must be supported by official copies of all high school transcripts and other records of academic work.
Transcripts should be certified by the school and prepared in a sealed envelope by the school. They can either be sent to Acadia directly from the school or given to the student to send. Certified transcripts acceptable to Acadia will be used as a basis of admission.
TOEFL – 90 IBT with no subtest score below 20
IELTS – 6.5 with no subtest score below 6.0

The BCS degree is a 4-year degree meant to meet and exceed CIPS and ACM standards for undergraduate programs by providing a mix of computational theory, systems and architecture knowledge, problem solving, systems analysis and application development skills and experience. Acadia University's Jodrey School of Computer Science will The BCS degree is a 4-year degree meant to meet and exceed CIPS and ACM standards for undergraduate programs by providing a mix of computational theory, systems and architecture knowledge, problem solving, systems analysis and application development skills and experience. The degree requires that all core courses (63 of 120 hrs, 3 hrs a 1 term course) be completed with C- or better and a CGPA of 2.0. The on-going development of interpersonal, communication, team work, project management and entrepreneurial skills are important elements of many courses. With 7 (21 hrs) electives available, a student is able to build her/his degree in computer science around other areas of science, arts and/or professional studies at Acadia.you move beyond being just a user of computers. The School will teach you how to design and implement computer systems that solve real-world problems. We offer a Bachelor of Computer Science, a Bachelor of Computer Science with Honours, a Bachelor of Applied Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Science. In our Bachelor of Applied Computer Science, we offer defined options in Software Development, Game Development, Data Analytics, Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing, as well as options to take a second major or an interdisciplinary minor. Our programs are designed for those students who do not have a programming course from high school. If you do have programming experience, please let us know, and we may be able to fast-track your 1st year courses.
