学生可以通过两种可能的方式之一获得计算机科学理学学士学位。计算机科学的传统学位包括数学，辅修，专业或荣誉学位。另外，有兴趣将计算科学的技术方面应用到商业中的学生可以获取计算科学和工商管理专业。这两个计算科学选项都有一个Co-op选项。计算机科学专业和荣誉课程获得了加拿大信息处理协会（CIPS）计算机科学认证委员会的认可。这不仅保证了程序质量，而且还使学生能够在更短的时间内获得信息系统专业人员（ISP）的称号。
Computing Science is the study of both the theoretical and practical aspects of computation and its applications. It involves the systematic study of the algorithms that underlie the acquisition, representation, processing, storage, communication of-and access to-information of all kinds. It also involves the study of computing platforms and programming languages like Cplusplus and Java.In this program, you'll explore creative ways to solve problems as you discover how computers and computer systems can be applied to everything from medicine to security to entertainment. You'll also develop other marketable skills, such as project management, and software design and development. Students can obtain a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science in one of two possible ways. A traditional degree in Computing Science involving an emphasis in Mathematics is offered as a minor, concentration, major, or honours. Alternatively, students interested in applying the technical aspects of Computing Science to business can obtain a major in Computing Science and Business Administration. Both of these degrees have a Co-op option.The major and honours programs in Computing Science are accredited by the Computer Science Accreditation Council of the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS). Not only is this an assurance of program quality, but it also allows students to earn the Information Systems Professional (ISP) designation in less time.
