• Master's applicants must have:
• An undergraduate degree in computer science (or a related discipline) from a
recognized university
• Minimum cumulative GPA of B for the MCS by coursework program, B+ for the
MCS by thesis/report program
• A computer science background in: software engineering, data structures,
operating systems, algorithms and computer architecture
International applicants whose first language is not English will be required to submit language scores. Examples of minimum acceptable scores include:
IELTS (Academic) score of band 7.0 overall and in written
TOEFL iBT 94 with 23 in written
MELAB minimum score of 85%
CanTest minimum score of band 4.5
Pearson Test of English (Academic) minimum score of 65
Duolingo is also being accepted for the time being. If applicants are not able to take the tests noted above for reasons out of their control, a minimum score of 120 will be accepted.

Our recent graduates have gone on to work at companies such as IBM, Ciena, Alcatel-Lucent and Ernst & Young, as well as to careers in academia.The Masters Co-op degree is an option for students enrolled in the Masters of Computer Science (MCS) or the Masters of Computer Science by Coursework (MCSC).The co-op program exposes students to the latest technologies and to advanced work in an applied setting.
