B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent, or completion of nine university-level credits with a minimum GPA of 2.00 in all university courses attempted.
Students may formally declare a Computing Science major or minor if they meet all of the following requirements:
A minimum of 30 credits,
a minimum 2.0 CGPA on all credits attempted,
Completion of the following Computing Science requirements:
COMP 125
COMP 150 with a minimum grade of C+
Math 111 with a minimum grade of C
Math 125
English Language Requirements:
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) - IBT score of 88 with no section below 20, or paper-based score of 570 with a TWE (essay) score of 4.5 or higher.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic format - score of at least 6.5., with no band score less than 6.0.
MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery) - score of at least 85.
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) - score of at least 70.
