Official transcripts showing a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution. Normally, a grade point average of approximately 3.0 or higher in upper division undergraduate work is expected. Official transcripts must be ordered and sent directly to Cal Lutheran via certified e-transcript or mail. We recommend e-transcript if available at your institution.

Test scores
Applicants whose undergraduate records do not satisfy the criteria set forth below must include Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores in their admission portfolio.
The GMAT may be waived for candidates who present an official transcript of previous college work from a regionally accredited college or university reflecting any one of the following criteria:
An undergraduate, upper division grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or
A combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the most recent 60 credits of study consisting of any of the following: graduate course work, upper division post baccalaureate course work (exclusive of extension or continuing education work), and upper division undergraduate course work, or
A previously earned master's degree.
The applicant has completed the bachelor's (or higher) degree at a regionally accredited college or university. Normally, a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required.
For the TOEFL, the minimum acceptable score is 88 for the internet-based test.
For the IELTS 6.5 is required.

Learn how to create, develop and implement data models as well as work with big data sets using a real-world data cluster to derive insights and make recommendations. An applied curriculum based on machine learning and statistical techniques, visualization tools and R language provides professionals with the necessary skills to launch their careers into the data analytics domain in any industry. Students who complete this track will be prepared to leverage and manage data and develop data-driven solutions, either as in-house experts and managers or as independent consultants. This track provides a foundation for graduates to move on to positions such as Business/Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, and to upcoming positions opening in this growing field. Information Technology (IT) is pervasive today and is at the core of almost any business organization. The Master of Science in Information Technology program (MSIT) is designed to provide students with a solid and forward-thinking technical foundation used to effectively plan, design, implement and manage IT solutions and systems. It prepares students to be strong technical leaders, ready to lead IT-enabled organizational change. The MSIT program serves both technical professionals wishing to advance their career in the field as well as business professionals wishing to gain valuable IT skills needed to transform enterprise operations. The curriculum is carefully designed to combine the study of fundamental theory with sound practice, applying latest technologies and tools to real-world problems in the comfort of the classroom.
