Undergraduate applicants who have no previous work at the post-secondary level must have at least a 2.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) from a secondary school. Students must also meet the criteria for admission to university level study in their home country. As a general studies major, you will work with a faculty advisor to design a course of study that explores a wide range of subject areas. You will gain a well-rounded education in both the sciences and humanities. The major is excellent preparation for law or graduate school and careers in business or social services.
