Transcripts. Don't submit your transcripts to UC at this point, but refer to them as you fill out the application to ensure the information you enter is accurate.
Test scores. UC will not consider SAT or ACT test scores when making admissions decisions or awarding scholarships. If you choose to submit test scores as part of your application, they may be used as an alternative method of fulfilling minimum requirements for eligibility or for course placement after you enroll.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): Internet-based test (iBT) or iBT Home Edition: Minimum score of 80 or better. Paper-delivered test: Minimum score of 60 or better
IELTS (International English Language Testing System): Overall band score of 6.5 or higher, includes IELTS Indicator Exam
Duolingo English Test (DET): Minimum score of 115
SAT (March 2016 or later) Writing & Language Test: 31 or higher
SAT (prior to March 2016) Writing Exam: 560 or higher
ACT combined English-Writing or English Language Arts portion: 24 or higher
AP English Language and Composition, or English Literature and Composition: 3, 4, or 5
IB Standard Level examination in English: Literature, or Language and Literature: 6 or 7
IB Higher Level examination in English: Literature, or Language and Literature: 5, 6, or 7

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science: Computer Game Design is an undergraduate degree program focused on the construction and design of interactive computer games. Reflecting both the growing cultural and economic importance of the computer gaming industry within California and the increasing complexity and specialization of computer gaming systems, the program focuses on the technical, narrative, and artistic underpinnings of these games. The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science: Computer Game Design is an undergraduate degree program focused on the construction and design of interactive computer games. Reflecting both the growing cultural and economic importance of the computer gaming industry within California and the increasing complexity and specialization of computer gaming systems, the program focuses on the technical, narrative, and artistic underpinnings of these games. The degree features a freshman year introduction to game design, a sophomore year game programming experience, two upper-division digital media electives, and an intensive senior-year game design studio where students work in teams to develop a substantial video game.
