Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with ENG4C or ENG4U, or mature student status (19 years or older)
Applicants will also require:
3 Digital art pieces (3D sculptures/models, character concepts, video editing, photography and graphic design)
1 Interior perspective drawing
1 Shaded hand drawing
IELTS (Academic) - 5.5 no band less than 5.0
TOEFL IBT - 60 plus with minimums of 18
TOEFL Paper based - 525 plus
Duolingo - 105 plus

课程简介

Start an exciting career in the rapidly growing digital visual effects industry. Create dynamic and realistic visual effects for use in film, television, games, and architectural visualization. Learn to produce a concept sketch and storyboard, shape a model, stage a scene and represent movements in three dimensions. Gain professional skills through a practical, hands on approach in labs that are outfitted with the latest tools and industry-standard software with training focused on major trends in visual, digital and special effects arts. Learning outcomes represent culminating demonstrations of learning and achievement. In addition, learning outcomes are interrelated and cannot be viewed in isolation of one another. As such, they should be viewed as a comprehensive whole. They describe performances that demonstrate that significant integrated learning by graduates of the program has been achieved. A field placement with opportunities to work in the visual effects industry.
