Learn new strategies to improve your teaching with a master's degree in reading education from TWU. This program provides the application of theory and research to the processes and practices of literacy instruction so you can feel confident as a literacy leader. Texas Woman's offers two master degree options in reading education: Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Education (MEd). Both are available in a blended format with classes online and on TWU's Denton campus. The blended delivery of our MA and MEd programs in Reading provide the best of both worlds: an opportunity to build community and support as a cohort of learners while meeting on campus a few times each semester and the convenience of working online 60 percent of the time during each semester. Our graduates are taught a variety of instructional approaches and assessments - including the use of technology - to create an environment that supports literacy learning. Graduates are lifelong learners who become literacy leaders in schools, communities and across the nation. You can complete your degree within seven semesters (2 - years) with continuous enrollment.
