残疾研究高级证书

进阶学习证书（CAS）计划是残疾人研究及相关领域的15个学分时的研究生学位。CAS计划非常适合希望证明自己可以在残疾研究领域以及其他领域（例如特殊教育，康复咨询，社会科学）进行教学，进行研究或工作的学生。您无需进入SU的研究生课程即可进入CAS的残障研究。CAS旨在为非学位课程的学生提供职业发展机会。
The C.A.S. program in Disability Studies is internationally recognized and provides students a foundation to examine disability as a social, cultural, and political phenomenon.<br><br>This program in the Department of Cultural Foundations of Education gives students the skills, methods, and perspectives to play leadership roles in disability research, policy, advocacy, and practice. It offers a variety of course formats and can be completed in person on campus, entirely online, or a combination of online and on campus classes. This variety of course formats gives students more opportunities and flexibility to engage in course work in Disability Studies.<br><br>The Disability Studies C.A.S. requires 15 graduate credits. Each student develops a personalized program of study in consultation with their CAS advisor. It can be completed as a full-time student in two semesters, or taken part-time for students who are also working full time or in another graduate program at Syracuse.
