Persons applying to the Literacy in Post-Secondary Settings Certificate must be admitted to the Graduate School, and submit an application, two letters of recommendation, and statement of professional goals. For applicants from non-English speaking countries a minimum TOEFL paper score of 550, or a score of 79 on the internet based test, is required. IELTS -6.5.
Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university.
Original copy/copies of transcripts/marksheets in English for evaluation by the Graduate School.
Minimum Graduate School admission requirements include an earned bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and a 2.75 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
Submit transcripts reflecting all undergraduate and/or post-baccalaureate study. An official course-by-course transcript in English from educational institutions where any degree(s) were earned (both domestic or international) is required. Official transcripts will not be accepted from the student and must be sent directly from the issuing institution. Unofficial transcripts from institutions where credit (but no degree) was earned are acceptable and may be supplied by the student. WKU transcripts are on file and no submission is necessary.
