The Teacher Leader Certificate Program at the University of Memphis is designed to prepare practitioners in the field of education to develop leadership skills to support instruction at the school level. This four course certificate can be completed in three semesters. Specific focus will be placed upon developing leadership styles, using data to improve student learning and developing instructional skills to support colleagues. The student must complete all four required courses with an average grade of B (3.0) or higher for a total of 12 credit hours. In the semester of graduation, the student must apply to graduate from the University Graduate School and a graduate Certification form to the ICL Graduate Office in Ball Hall 215 by the deadline specified by the University Graduate School.
