WES and ECE transcripts are accepted. 550 on the paper-based TOEFL (PBT), 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (IBT), 6.5 on the IELTS.

课程简介

The Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Foundations emphasizes the tools of research and the interplay of theory and practice in education. The degree requires the completion of 30 credits of course work, 12 credits of dissertation research, a comprehensive written examination, an oral examination/proposal defense, and a public presentation and defense of the dissertation. Possible career paths for someone with a graduate degree in educational foundations include University faculty positions, educational research opportunities and positions within educational agencies at local, state, and federal levels. In addition, these degree programs enable current educators (e.g., teachers and administrators) to understand more deeply the sociocultural, political, and economic contexts of the schools and communities in which they work and to become critical and reflective practitioners.
