Pro-Mo-Ted is an alternative means for gaining the Interim Occupational Certificate required to teach in a Career and Technical Education setting. The Ferris State University Pro-Mo-Ted education program provides a balanced mix of courses in three major areas: professional education, field experience and liberal arts education. About a third of the courses required for graduation will be in the major's chosen field. Pro-Mo-Ted education students also must complete occupational work experience.
