Prepare to become a physical education teacher, kinesiologist, or sport, health or wellness professional with the Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching (BPEC). You'll study applied teaching and coaching methodology, leadership, anatomy, physiology, social justice, psychology and more. You can choose to concentrate on kinesiology or health promotion, and you also have the option of applying to graduate and professional programs in education, medicine, allied health, sport and health administration, and other related fields. <br><br>Work experience while you study<br><br>Get hands-on experience with PE, rehabilitation, coaching and classroom placements with our BPEC fieldwork program and be paired with a mentor in the community. Put your new skills to work with our optional Co-operative Education Program and gain paid full-time work experience that will make you job-ready when you graduate. To participate in Co-op you need to plan two semesters in advance, so we strongly recommend contacting the Co-op Office at the start of your program.
