国际学生入学条件
Hold a baccalaureate degree (i.e. undergraduate degree) from a recognized degree-granting institution, in the discipline of interest or in a closely cognate discipline.
Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 in the terms containing the last 20 graded university courses (60.0 credit hours).
Approximately two years of teaching experience or other relevant educational experience.
Preference is given to applicants who have leadership experience and/or demonstrated leadership potential.
Candidates preparing themselves for a career that involves teacher certification must hold Teacher Certification at the time of admission.
All proof of English proficiency must be provided on official academic transcripts or standardized test score reports. Standardized test scores must be valid and verifiable. Successful completion of a baccalaureate or master's degree at a recognized institution where the language of instruction is English. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL (iBT) or TOEFL iBT Home Edition) with a minimum total score of 86. Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS or IELTS Online) test, taken within the last two years, with a minimum overall score of 6.5, and a minimum score of 6.0 in each band. IELTS One Skill Retake results are accepted. Cambridge English Qualifications: C2 Proficiency (C2 Proficiency), with a minimum score of 176, and a minimum 176 in each subscore. Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL or CAEL Online) assessment, taken within the last two years, with a minimum overall score of 70. Duolingo with a minimum score of 115.

The Master of Education (Educational Leadership) program reflects recent shifts in the knowledge base and in the restructuring of educational leadership programs worldwide using a 21st Century professional practice competencies approach that integrates theory and practice. The program particularly reflects the Faculty of Education's commitment to preparing leaders for schools and school jurisdictions. This MEd leads to Alberta Education Leadership Quality Standard Certification. This 25-month long program is offered in a blended delivery format. This includes online courses in fall, spring, and summer semesters, as well as face-to-face courses in July.
