A bachelor's degree from Simon Fraser University or its equivalent from a recognized institution. A cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0/4.33 (B), or a grade point average of at least 3.33/4.33 (B+) based on the last 60 credits of undergraduate courses. All graduate work is also considered. Individual graduate programs may set a higher admission grade point average.IELTS overall band score of 7.0 of the academic test with a minimum of 6.5 in each section.Paper-based TOEFL -580 and TWE 5,Internet-based TOEFL 93 with minimum of 20 in each category.
1. A bachelor's degree with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0/4.33 (B), or a grade point average of at least 3.33/4.33 (B+) based on the last 60 credits of undergraduate courses from a recognized university, or the equivalent. In exceptional cases, applications will be considered where the applicant has followed an alternate educational path and the applicant has extensive experience in an educational or professional setting. Note: non-traditional applicants with substantial professional and/or community experience are also encouraged to apply.
2. Submitted evidence that the applicant is capable of undertaking advanced work in the area of interest. This is usually judged from letters of reference from qualified referees and an academic writing sample.
3. Several years of exemplary and varied educational and professional experience, preferably in the area of interest. Minimum two years of work experience.
The candidate should have a demonstrated interest and experience in issues related to educational leadership.

Graduate studies in Educational Leadership are designed for practicing educators who wish to improve their abilities to critically read, evaluate, and integrate educational theory and research. <br><br>Each program offering focuses on integrating scholarly inquiry with focal interests and professional practice needs.<br><br>Overall, participation in this program will afford students a coherent program of study that integrates theory with practice, in addition to an opportunity to engage in a research project.<br><br>This program develops the research capacity and leadership skills of educators who are currently working in diverse educational contexts (e.g., K-12, post-secondary, adult, health, and other organizations) and will equip them for innovative practice in their contexts. The graduates of our program are well placed to lead effectively and make carefully considered and evidence-based decisions as educational leaders across the BC and Canadian educational systems.
