To qualify for the MEd in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning program, you must have a minimum of:
A four-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a university recognized by the Faculty of Graduate Studies
with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in your last sixty credit hours of university study
Two or more years of relevant work experience.
Suitable academic and/or professional background for the program area and concentration.
For the Language and Literacy, Critical Perspectives in Curriculum, Teaching, and Pedagogy, and Indigenous (First Nations/Mtis/Inuit) Perspectives in Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning concentrations, a Bachelor of Education degree is required.
IELTS (Academic module) - 6.5 overall
Internet-based TOEFL - Overall score of 86, (20 each in Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking)

The Master of Education in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning is a challenging and enlightening program rich in scope and content. Students will study, interpret and share ideas with a community of graduate students who have a passion for thinking about and expressing educational ideas.<br>Faculty research<br>Our faculty is engaged in advanced educational research, providing you with opportunities to study, learn, and work with faculty members active in significant research programs and collaborations provincially, nationally, and internationally.<br>Advanced study in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning will provide you with the opportunity to critique and reflect on ideas about education and educational research, to deepen your professional knowledge, and enhance problem-solving and creativity skills.<br>You will have opportunities to work and learn independently and collaboratively with students, faculty and staff who are passionate about shaping the lives of students and the future of communities. Professional leadership and research through involvement in the Education Graduate Students Association, Education Graduate Student Symposium, and research assistantships may also deepen your graduate student experience.<br>The MEd in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning program offers specializations in Arts, Community and Education; Critical Perspectives in Curriculum, Teaching and Pedagogy; Indigenous (First NationsMétisInuit) Perspectives in Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning; Language and Literacy; Second Language Education; Studies in Contemplative, Holistic, and Integrative Education; and Studies in Mathematics Education and Science Education. You can choose to take a thesis-based or course-based route.
