Enhance your education skills and expertise in conservation science and behaviour change through this unique opportunity to study conservation in action. Offered through the exclusive educational alliance between Taronga Conservation Society Australia and the University of Sydney, this new specialisation links theory and practice. The program is designed to develop the careers of teaching professionals, education administrators, researchers, policymakers, nature conservationists and wildlife professionals who are passionate about a healthy future for wildlife and people. The Master of Education (Taronga Conservation Education) degree will enable you to join the next generation of environmental influencers and educators leading the community to rethink the way we live and the impact we have on the environment. Using Taronga Conservation Society Australia as a case study, you will investigate conservation programs being implemented across both Taronga Zoo Sydney and Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, NSW. Our classes will take place at the University of Sydney and the Taronga Institute of Science and Learning at Taronga Zoo. The Institute offers access to the wider Zoo campus providing you with an authentic and interactive learning experience in an environment of working science.
