Normally, two years of full-time classroom teaching experience is required for admission to the program. graduate programs may set a higher admission grade point average.IELTS overall band score of 7.0 of the academic test with a minimum of 6.5 in each section.Paper-based TOEFL -580 and TWE 5,Internet-based TOEFL 93 with minimum of 20 in each category.

In exceptional circumstances, applicants who do not meet these requirements may be considered if superior scholarly or professional achievement is demonstrated.

This full-time 17-month MEd program is designed for prospective English language teachers. It is distinctive in offering a fieldwork component to introduce TEAL-F students to Canadian educational settings, and in offering cohort-specific cultural and academic literacy support. Master of Education in Teaching English as an Additional Language–Fieldwork Stream [TEAL-F] provides an exciting and in-depth professional, scholarly, and cultural experience for its students. English language teachers will develop understanding of educational issues and practices specific to TEFL/TESL while studying in a multicultural environment. The program is designed for a cohort of students and each course is designed to complement the other courses. The Master of Education in Teaching English as an Additional Language–Fieldwork Stream (TESL/TEFL) [TEAL-F] is a 17-month (four term) program that begins in late July each year with an intensive five-week orientation.

关于西蒙菲莎大学
