The Bioregional Planning and Community Design (BIOP) program challenges the traditional planning education paradigm by leading with people and place-based community values-not statistics. Led by planning practitioners and a diverse faculty from eight academic units, our curriculum was designed, and is continuously evaluated, to be responsive to today's planning needs. We offer a shared-class format where graduate students and practitioners seeking continuing education come together to explore new concepts and current planning issues from their unique perspectives. Prepare to create communities based on strategic, sustainable growth and enhance cultures, resource bases, the environment and economic health with this interdisciplinary program.
