Students in the Agribusiness concentration have the option of choosing a field of study three (3) courses that include coursework at the Robert H. Smith School of Business. If you are planning on taking any business-related courses as part of your field of study, we recommend that you choose the Agribusiness concentration. Be sure to consult the Agribusiness 4-year plan.The career paths that await you as an AREC graduate in the public, private, and non-profit sectors are endless. Our graduates have also matriculated at elite universities for graduate study.<br><br>The combination of quantitative training and applied analytical work makes applied economics graduates extremely attractive to employers in a variety of industries. As an AREC major, you will complete challenging coursework in statistics, economics, and calculus. AREC students can also get credit for study abroad and internships.
