MSU Texas launched the agribusiness concentration in its economics major to develop graduates who have the knowledge, skills and competencies to enter the agribusiness industry. Students will learn to apply business and economic principles to the analysis of food other agricultural markets and to the management of natural resources. This broad-based Agribusiness concentration curriculum is designed to develop your managerial and business skills for employment in any agriculture-related business, organization, or public agency. An Agribusiness concentration requires a minimum of four (4) AGBU courses, including AGBU 4723, Agricultural Price Analysis.<br><br>In the United States, the need for qualified employees in the ag industry is growing as 81 percent of of those jobs needed int he field require education beyond high school. Research from Feedstuffs shows that over the next 30 years, the world's food production must double to meet the demand of the growing population.
