General Business is interdisciplinary. General Business offers classes in depth from all the business disciplines. Among the skills a graduate in General Business will develop are: the essentials of business planning, cash flow management, employee motivation, investment strategies, and innovative marketing. General Business as a major has special appeal to two types of students. First, it is particularly well suited for individuals who plan to work in small business enterprises. Second, it is an excellent major for anyone who wishes to manage or own his or her own business enterprise, whether small or large.
