Individuals interested in applying to a graduate program offered at Syracuse University must complete an official graduate application and submit one copy of records of all previous post secondary education. This consists of a 20-minute standardized test of spoken English and one or more interviews. Each examinee is assigned a score using a 4-point scale of English language proficiency. Most assessments take place during the TA Orientation Program in August. GPA of 3.00 or higher (undergraduate and/or master's degree). GRE Quantitative score of 140, Verbal score of 150. (Please note, the GRE exam must be taken within the last five years). TOEFL scores of 100 for the Internet based (IBT) test. IELTS of 7 or above.
