For those interested in the certificate, please submit a brief statement of purpose (500-700 words) describing the certificateÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s relationship to your intellectual and professional goals. Additional requirements vary depending on the studentÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s enrollment. Hold an earned bachelorÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s degree or equivalent from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional or general accrediting agency, or an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university, Have a minimum 3.0 GPA for the last 60 hours of undergraduate study and a minimum 3.0 GPA for all prior graduate work. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), or 79 (iBT), International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5 or higher, GRE verbal score of 500 (153, Revised GRE) or higher.
