Official Academic Transcript(s) from all post secondary studies. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (minimum score: 230 computer-based, 88 Internet-based). International English Language Testing System (IELTS - Academic)(6.5 minimum overall for direct academic entry with no band score lower than 6).

Applicants to Second-entry (graduate or undergraduate) level university programs, must arrange to have official transcripts sent directly to the Office of Admissions and must be received by the application deadline. For transcripts to be considered ''official'', they must be sent directly from the Registrar's Office to our Admissions Office, be imprinted with the school's seal and/or bear the appropriate signature. We will not use opened transcripts sent by the candidates. We do not accept faxed transcripts.

Apply your knowledge to the many social and physical challenges we face during our lives, such as gender politics, group dynamics, death and dying. Specialize in several areas of study, including cognition and communication, Franco-Ontarian and Francophone studies, interpretation, values and ethics, regional and cultural studies, and gender relations and sexuality studies. Learn to observe and critically assess cultural influences, physical and emotional health as they relate to philosophy, psychology, life sciences, education, economics, and communication. Develop a substantive research project and hone your critical thinking and communication skills with the support of program faculty. Take opportunities to learn outside of the classroom with national and international conferences, Laurentian University's Research Week, and the Annual Human Studies Colloquium.
