Statement of purpose. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are required for all master's programs. The GRE must have been taken within the last 5 years and you must have an official score report sent directly from the testing agency. Scores from the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) may be submitted in lieu of the GRE for the M.E.d. in Leadership and Organizational Performance.
Current Vanderbilt undergraduate students or recent alumni of Vanderbilt University who have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 are not required to submit a GRE score.
A minimum recommended TOEFL score is 100. There is no institutional code for the IELTS and a minimum recommended score is 7.0 for the composite score with no individual band score below 6.5.

Solve the most pressing challenges facing children and families today by connecting scholarship and practice through the M.Ed. in Child Studies.<br><br>There are two tracks in this program - an Applied Professional Track if you plan to work directly with children and families and a Clinical and Developmental Research Track if you plan to apply to a doctoral degree program later. Both tracks prepare you to work as a practitioner or researcher with expertise in skillfully applying developmental research to real-world problems.<br><br>With about 20 students, cohorts are small. The students who succeed in the two-year Child Studies graduate program are passionate about improving the lives of children and families through professional and research roles in schools, community service organizations, nonprofit and research institutions, and universities.
