国际学生入学条件

A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or a comparable degree from an international institution is required. A minimum undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 on the equivalent of the last 60 semester hours (approximately two years of work) or a master’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required. Applicants from an international institution must demonstrate strong academic achievement comparable to a 3.00 for an undergraduate or master’s degree. Like the discipline of history itself, our department was founded on the study of European history, which remains a core area of strength. The expertise of our faculty members in European history spans its chronological breadth – from ancient and medieval history to early modern and modern European history – as well as its geographical reach – from Britain to the Mediterranean and from France to Russia. Our thematic strengths include gender, ethnicity, and religion (Judaism and Christianity); empire and nation; war and society; migration and borderlands; and transnational movements.
