Official transcripts in native language and English from all high schools, colleges and universities attended. Students must achieve a 3.2 cumulative GPA, with junior year being no less than a 3.1 GPA, in a college preparatory curriculum that results in a high school diploma. TOEFL score of at least 550 written / 213 computer / 80 IBT. Score of 6.0 or better on the IELTS.

In our program, you will critically examine human behavior and the science behind it while gaining a deep understanding of the human experience and learning to connect that knowledge to life and the complex issues in today's world. Students can earn a major, a minor or a major with a research concentration. Our program provides a strong foundation in the field, while allowing you to customize your studies to best fit your interests and goals. Research is a significant aspect of our department, and you will have many opportunities to participate in faculty research or conduct your own research project. Gonzaga psychology students have a strong record of presenting research and receiving awards for their work at major national conferences. Through rigorous coursework, thoughtful discussion, and scientific inquiry, we will help you think critically, grow personally, and become inspired to use your psychology education to serve the greater good. Being able to demonstrate a breadth of content knowledge across the discipline of psychology (assessed using MFT). Being able identify and find relevant empirical research on a given topic and being able to read, understand, and evaluate that research. After reviewing research/theory, being able to ask an interesting question/develop a hypothesis. Being able to articulate the basic ethical principles that govern research and practice in psychology.
