国际学生入学条件

Required
GPA of 3.0 or above on all undergraduate coursework.
GPA of 3.25 or above on all psychology coursework (if applicable)
Preferred, Hold at least a B.A. in psychology or have completed 30 hours of psychology coursework
Earned scores of 151 (51%) or above on the Verbal Reasoning, 153 (51%) or above on the Quantitative Reasoning, and 4.0 (56%) on the Analytical Writing subtests of the GRE.
A minimum score of 79 on the internet-based TOEFL.
A minimum score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
The GRE Psychology subtest is not required. However, the GRE Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing scores are required.

The University of Akron offers a Counseling Psychology Program (CPP) housed in the Department of Psychology. Established in 1983, the program is accredited by the American Psychological Association. It is distinctive in that it uses an apprenticeship model to provide solid generalist training in counseling psychology to students of diverse backgrounds and has a strong focus on social justice.
