Applicants who have a completed master’s degree with a thesis are prioritized in admissions. We will also consider individuals who will complete their master’s degrees no later than the fall semester during their first year in the program. The admissions committee (Core Faculty) reserves the right to consider master’s graduates who do not have a thesis or applicants applying directly from undergraduate programs if need be, though these applicants are considered to be somewhat less competitive. The subject (Psychology) GRE is not required. Recommended GRE: 153 (500) V, 144 (500) Q, Analytic Writing 4.0. GPA: 3.0 or higher in last 60 hours of undergraduate work, 3.5 in psychology classes. If graduate master’s work has been completed, a 3.5 is desirable. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), or 79 (iBT), International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5 or higher.
