Meet the general requirements for admission to the Graduate School.
Possess an undergraduate major in communication, journalism or a related field; or, complete at least 15 semester credits of undergraduate communication coursework approved by the department.

The School of Communication offers a flexible program in communication. Students who want professional careers can specialize in skills classes designed to help them get ahead in today's competitive work environment. Co-curricular activities, professional organizations and internships offer practical, hands-on experience.<br><br>Other students who want to plan an academic career, will take a more traditional approach to their graduate coursework. This rigorous training prepares Master's graduates for doctoral programs and/or law schools. UA Master's graduates are found in doctoral programs and teaching in universities across the nation.
