Admission Requirements for the Master of Science (M.S.) in Criminalistics program: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. The undergraduate degree does not have to be in criminal justice, but applicants are required to demonstrate a basic understanding and awareness of the criminal justice system.
Successful completion of undergraduate coursework in the following courses: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Investigative Concepts, Natural Science course
Act 33/34 and FBI background check clearance is needed for full acceptance to program
Submit application materials: Official academic transcripts from all prior institutions

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores of 550 (paper test), 213 (computer test) or 79 (iBT), a minimum IELTS band score of 6.5 in lieu of TOEFL.

The Master of Science degree in Criminalistics (MSC) is a broad master's program that will provide students with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to apply analytical and scientific methods to criminal investigation. The curriculum offers exposure to crime scene investigation and evidence techniques, as well as legal issues, expert testimony, trace evidence, physical evidence, crime mapping and current topics within the field of crime scene investigation. It is our goal to take students from the crime scene, to the forensic laboratory and finally to providing expert testimony in a court of law.
