Accounting is a promising and highly rewarding career. Demand for qualified accountants trained in preparing financial documentation is expected to increase in response to the escalating data-driven decision-making and financial regulations in organizations of all types. Accounting students will gain analytical skills, develop an understanding of business processes, strengthen their ability to communicate effectively and become aware of the importance of the ethical and social responsibilities of accounting. Students will experience an innovative education in the Center for Business Ingenuity, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and global software. Students will receive hands-on opportunities through internships and service-learning projects with local and national businesses, as well as through the unique collaboration between Gannon University's Dahlkemper School of Business, Small Business Development Center and Erie Technology Incubator.
