High School/University Transcripts
Equivalent of a 2.00 US GPA.
Transcripts for all coursework completed in high school (upper-secondary), English language programs, and university or college. Transcripts should be translated into English by an official translator and/or translating agency.
Unofficial transcripts are sufficient for admission purposes.
Official transcripts are required for athletic eligibility, and may be submitted at a later date.
If you are under 18 years old during your first semester, a copy of your high school diploma is required at least one week before the semester starts.
Secondary School and/or College or University -
Submit a copy of your transcript -
Studied for a minimum of 3 years with all subjects in English at an international secondary school.
Attended a US high school or secondary school in a country where English is the primary language of instruction for at least one year.
Completed all years of study in a secondary school in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, German, or Dutch countries and received passing grades in English.
Attended a U.S. college or university for at least one semester (non-ESL courses).
Attended at least one semester of non-ESL courses at a college or university where English is the primary language of instruction.

This course of study is designed to prepare students for entry level positions in municipal and county law enforcement agencies (i.e. police or sheriffs departments), andor to transfer to Bachelor’s degree programs in Criminal Justice or related fields to prepare for federal or state-level law enforcement positions (i.e., FBI, DEA, INS, etc.).<br><br>Learning Outcomes - <br>Demonstrate an understanding of the American criminal justice system and the scope of responsibilities of the various local, state and federal law enforcement agencies beginning with arrest through parole.<br>Articulate the system’s objectives, the crime problem, and role expectations of criminal justice personnel, and describe the various agencies and each subsystem within the system.<br>Describe the system’s responsibilities to the community, factors in crime causation, the social implications of crime and communication barriers between the system and the community.<br>Articulate the differences between the major criminological theories of the causes of crime and how those theories relate to policies toward crime and criminal behavior.
