课程简介
An Associate in Science in Administration of Justice for Transfer (AS-T) from Skyline College is intended for students who are interested in transferring to a California State University (CSU) campus with a major in Administration of Justice, or similar major. The Administration of Justice program seeks to prepare students for careers in law enforcement and legal studies. The courses in Skyline's program lead to transfer programs at baccalaureate institutions.

Students completing an AS-T degree are guaranteed admission to the CSU system, but not to a particular campus or major. Students transferring to a CSU campus that accepts the AS-T will be required to complete no more than 60 units after transfer to earn a bachelor's degree. This degree may not be the best option for students intending to transfer to a particular CSU campus or university or a college that is not part of the CSU system. Students should consult with a Skyline College counselor for further information on university admissions and transfer requirements. A grade of C or better, or Pass if the course is taken on a Pass/No Pass basis, is required for each course applied to the major. Major course requirements may also be applied to meet general education requirements.

Proper selection of curriculum electives further enables students to study other academic disciplines, such as political science, sociology, psychology, and public administration. The Associate in Science in Administration of Justice for Transfer (AS-T in Administration of Justice) is also appropriate for students considering law school.
The Administration of Justice Program prepares students for the field of criminal justice. The program at Skyline College is designed to educate students on the many aspects of justice administration, from the human, social and moral problems to the larger scope of justice systems. Through the expertise of the faculty and the exposure to professional personnel from the criminal justice system, students can expect to be prepared for further study and/or a career in various fields including criminal justice, law enforcement, corrections, social services, probation, and law.
