If you're passionate about law and justice and want to help at-risk and high-risk client groups in both community and institutional settings, the Community and Justice Services program is your path to an exciting career. This program blends corrections theory with practical experiences building your skills and confidence.​<br><br>You begin college immersed in a two-night, three-day field trip experience of Indigenous ways of knowing. This unique one-of-a-kind experience takes you on a journey of self-discovery, perspective taking, and community building and challenges you to bring your strengths and grow into your skills as you trust the process and challenge yourself by choice. The foundational teachings in this field trip grow your understanding of self-care strategies and support your knowledge of healing/rehabilitation practices.<br><br>Every semester, we bring you to the field or the field experts to you with numerous guest speakers currently employed in the field who will share their tips, stories, and an outstanding breadth of knowledge. Our experienced and dedicated faculty are practiced in experiential, applied, service, and student as partner learning. ​
