The School of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Reno is one of only two social work programs offered in the state of Nevada. Our goal is to elevate our students and the social work profession. While you'll need a Master of Social Work for any clinical work, there are a variety of careers you can enter with a bachelor's degree. <br><br> Caseworker: These professionals counsel and assist disadvantaged individuals or families.<br> Guidance counselor: Work in an academic setting to assist students with the social and personal skills they need to succeed personally and in their careers.<br> Family support worker: Assists in determining a family's eligibility for federal and state assistance programs.<br> Health educator and community health worker: Promote wellness and educate on healthy behaviors while advocating for health needs within a community.
