General GPA requirements for all majors is a 2.50 on a 4.00 scale.

Students should earn at least 120 credit hours and a B.S. or B.A. degree to be competitive for admission to physical therapy school. It is recommended that elective hours be taken from general education core requirements or a selected bachelor's degree program. Entrance into physical therapy school is very competitive and is not guaranteed solely by completing the prerequisite coursework outlined below. Consult with your advisor regularly about academic and non-academic factors associated with physical therapy school admissions.
