The following admission requirements apply to students who have not completed any college-level course work after completing secondary school.
Students pursuing an undergraduate major in Sport Management or Exercise Science are required to meet the following admission standards:
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
Completion of 30 semester hours of college-level course work.
Demonstrate proficiency in writing by earning a grade of C or higher in a college-level English composition course
Demonstrate proficiency in mathematics by earning a grade of C or higher in a college-level mathematics course
Proof of English proficiency.
Students who have attended a US high school or secondary school in another country that follows the US high school curriculum must submit ACT or SAT scores. These students must submit a minimum total ACT score of 16, or a minimum old total SAT score of 770 (before March 1, 2016), or a minimum new total SAT score of 880 (after March 1, 2016). Students who are applying to the Honors College and student athletes must comply with NCAA eligibility requirements. The Honors College has higher requirements, please see the Honors College website for more information.
Official transcripts of academic work and completion certificates from each secondary school and university attended. PHOTOCOPIES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. If transcripts are not in English, please include an official/certified English translation of the original documents.
TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based): 78 and at least 17 in each section
TOEFL PBT (Paper-Based): 550
IELTS: 6.0 and at least 5.0 in each section

The study of Exercise Science provides an understanding of human movement, physiology, and physical activity and how they can be used to maintain or improve health, physical fitness, and sport performance. Studying Exercise Science fosters communication skills, critical thinking, and an understanding of human movement and physiology. Students who earn a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science have many career opportunities as a health and fitness professional (see list below). Exercise Science also serves as an option for an undergraduate degree for those seeking clinical degree programs such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O). You may also pursue Masters and PhD programs in Exercise Science, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Human Bioenergetics, or a related field. Through the study of Exercise Science, you may go on to a multitude of health-related careers and certifications, including: Personal Training, Physiologist, Strength and Conditioning, Professor, Sports Performance, Occupational Therapist, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Cancer Exercise Specialist, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Group Exercise Instructor, Physical Therapist, Physical Educator K-12, Biomechanist, Health Educator K-12, Kinesiologist, Community Health, Corporate Wellness, Athletic Training, Researcher, Coaching.
