创业学生有机会成为Gannon创业俱乐部的会员,可以参加本地竞赛以推销自己的经营理念,或者是本地高中生的创业指导。企业家通过接受风险并采取主动行动,创造出新的想法,产品,商业机会,行业和市场。驱动企业家的核心思想是通过识别机会并确定捕获市场机会所需的资源为客户创造价值。创业学生将学习一系列独特的课程,这些课程旨在激发创造力,发展将可能性变为现实所需的思维过程和技能。
Gannon's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree (BSBA) is accredited by ACBSP with the following concentrations - Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Healthcare Management, International Management, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Risk Management and Insurance, Sport Management and Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. In AY24-25, the BSBA degree along with all concentrations, will be phased out in lieu of a BS degree with majors.<br><br>Entrepreneurship students have the opportunity to become a member of the Gannon Entrepreneurship Club, compete in local competitions to pitch their business ideas, or serve as an entrepreneurship mentor to local high school students. The entrepreneur creates new ideas, products, business ventures, industries and markets by accepting risk and using initiative. The core idea that drives the entrepreneur is creating value for the customer by recognizing opportunities and identifying the resources needed to capture opportunities in the market. Entrepreneurship students will take a unique sequence of courses designed to stimulate creativity and develop the thought processes and skills required to turn a possibility into a reality. Students will experience an innovative education in the Center for Business Ingenuity, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and global software. Students will receive hands-on opportunities through internships and service-learning projects with local and national businesses, as well as through the unique collaboration between Gannon University's Dahlkemper School of Business, Small Business Development Center and Erie Technology Incubator.
