The real-world experience they bring to the classroom helps them develop courses that will prepare you to enter the business world after graduation. <br>Accounting is one of those areas where you get to be something once you've graduated.<br>An internship gives you the opportunity to take what you learn in class and put it into practice by working in a business or other organization. Students often get an internship during the summer break, or for one or two semesters during the school year. The School of Business offers credit for approved internships.<br>Internships help you gain valuable career-related experience and build your professional network. They also may lead to full-time job opportunities after graduation. In addition, internships can give you the opportunity to see what it's like to work in various industries, which can give you a better idea of the type of work you enjoy and the career options you'd like to pursue.
