Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including the following program specific requirements. Typically, a minimum overall average of 70% establishes eligibility for admission consideration, subject to competition individual programs may require higher pre-requisite grades and/or higher overall averages:
English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
Advanced Functions (MHF4U)
Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U)
A minimum grade of 75% is required in the subject prerequisites and as an overall average.
IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL ibt: 92-93, TOEFL pbt: 580. Applicants who have completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma must present grades of 4 or higher in three Higher Level and three Standard Level subjects with a grade total of 28 or higher. Subject to competition, applicants may be required to present averages/grades above the minimum. IB Higher Levels with grades of 5 or higher may be considered for transfer credit on an individual basis. Engineering students are not eligible for transfer credits for core and professional engineering courses using IB subjects.

As a Ted Rogers School of Management student and varsity baseball player, Mitch credits Ryerson with enabling him to succeed academically while pursuing his athletic passions. Having previously studied at another university, Mitch was drawn to Ryerson's downtown Toronto campus. He chose the Accounting & Finance program, accredited by Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Ontario, for the breadth of career-ready skills and experience it offers. Accounting & finance students have two common years of study before choosing a major. As an accounting student, gain a solid grounding in all aspects of financial reporting, auditing, taxation and performance measurement. As a finance student, become skilled in the area of investments, risk management, corporate financial analysis and financial planning. Recognized by the CFA Institute, our Finance Program consists of a technical, practical and challenging curriculum that creates job-ready graduates. As a Finance student, you can specialize in fields including personal financial planning (CFP), corporate financial management, or investment management. Finance graduates can move onto a variety of exciting careers in Toronto's Financial District – Canada's largest – just steps away from TRSM. Co-op option available with program duration of 5 year.
