One other Approved Grade 12 course with a minimum grade of B.
Option 2: University entrance (for applicants who have completed at least nine post-secondary credits at a recognized institution)
This option is available to students who have completed one or more university courses at a recognized institution and have met the following requirements:
Prerequisites for MATH 141.
Prerequisites for ENGL 105.
Minimum of nine post-secondary credits with a minimum cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 2.00 based on all courses attempted.
One of the following:
Minimum GPA of 2.67 on all university-level credits attempted, or
All credits transferable to the BBA, with a minimum GPA of 2.67 calculated on those credits.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) IBT score of 88 with no section below 20, or paper-based score of 570 with a TWE (essay) score of 4.5 or higher.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic format score of at least 6.5., with no band score less than 6.0.
MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery) score of at least 85.
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) score of at least 70.

Equip yourself for a successful career in Human Resource Management. By drawing on the principles of multiple disciplines, including business, psychology, and sociology, you will learn to identify and analyze people-related problems, and develop solutions that strengthen organizations. Students who successfully complete the major and maintain at least two consecutive years of student membership in the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of BC & Yukon have the option of being exempt from writing the National Knowledge Exam component of obtaining their CPHR designation. The Human Resources Management major is multidisciplinary and exposes students to a variety of viewpoints and theoretical perspectives. Classes are highly interactive and emphasize teamwork, experiential exercises, and application of concepts to real-world problems. In particular, students have the opportunity to develop their oral and written communication skills. Without people, organizations cannot exist: the concepts and frameworks that students learn in HR classes equips them to manage strategically and engage employees.
