Official transcripts listing courses, examinations, grades, and marks from your high school or college/university. Photocopies may be temporarily accepted if they are certified by an official at the American Embassy or a known world organization.
Secondary School/University Transcripts
We require a 2.0 minimum GPA for all incoming freshmen and transfer students.
New international undergraduate students (*except those who have scores of 410 on the SAT verbal or 19 on the ACT English) must take the residual ACT prior to registration for classes to assess their English skills for placement purposes. An additional placement exam may also be offered (depending on the ACT score) to ensure proper advisement into appropriate English courses.
For other international students, the English language requirement of SAU will be met when the applicant has submitted proof of ONE of the following:
A score of 500 or higher on the written TOEFL
A score of 173 or higher on the computerized TOEFL
A score of 61 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL
A score of Band 5.5 (overall) on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
A score of 43 or higher on PTE (Pearson Test of English)
A score of 90 or higher on Duolingo
Completion of Level 109 at an ELS Language Center or its equivalent
Completion of EF Level 4
*A score of 410 on the SAT Verbal or *a score of 19 on the ACT English

Career options are almost limitless for a graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. Options include positions in human resource management, retail management, supply chain operations, manufacturing management, small business management, nonprofit management, and more. Entry-level management positions often require new hires to go through company-specific management training programs and to serve as assistant managers before being promoted to higher levels.<br><br>In the first two years of a four-year business degree, students take a broad range of classes. Upper-level courses include advanced business courses that are taken by all business majors and major-specific courses that allow Management students to specialize in their areas of interest.<br><br>All Management majors take courses in leadership and ethics, entrepreneurship, human resource management, supply chain management, and total quality management.<br>Because management is such a broad area, Management majors are encouraged to choose courses that fit their career goals. They may choose nine hours of electives from the following: upper-level courses from any department in the Rankin College of Business, industrial psychology from the Behavioral Sciences department, and/or work analysis from Engineering.<br>Students are assigned to advisors who are members of the RCB management faculty to help with class scheduling, professional mentoring, and career placement.
