Successful completion of the following business courses through NAIT Open Studies with an overall minimum GPA of 2.0:
COMM 1101 (Communications I),
ECON 1110 (Introduction to Microeconomics),
MATH 1180 (Business Math)
ACCT 1115 (Introductory Financial Accounting),
ORGB 1135 (Organizational Behaviour)
OR
Applicants who, prior to September 2022, have successfully completed the following business courses through NAIT Open Studies with an overall minimum GPA of 2.0, may use these courses to satisfy the current academic entrance requirements for Business Administration:
COMM 1101 (Communications I),
ECON 1110 (Microeconomics) or ECON 1112 (Macroeconomics),
FNCE 1125 (Introduction to Finance),
ACCT 1115 (Introductory Accounting I),
MARK 1130 (Introduction to Marketing) or MGMT 1120 (Principles of Management) or ORGB 1135 (Organizational Behaviour)
OR
Completion of minimum 24 post-secondary credits or 8 post-secondary courses* with an Admission GPA of 2.0.
IELTS (Academic Format) - 6.5 overall score, with no section below 5.0
TOEFL IBT (Internet Based) - 80 overall score, with no section below 20

Marketing requires imagination, keen knowledge of one’s audience and the ability to position products and services against the competition. If you’re a strategic and creative problem solver, a career in marketing could be right for you.<br><br>In NAIT’s marketing program, all the courses are project-based, technology-infused, and student-driven. Students engage in various active learning strategies, hand-on tasks for real world clients to ensure you are career ready, including computer simulations, media creation, and digital marketing.<br><br>After completion of the fifteen core business and marketing courses, you’ll be able to choose five electives from a list of six course options. Each student has the flexibility of selecting one of the following Marketing pathways: digital marketing, sales, or marketing communications. The 2-year diploma program has been developed in consultation with industry partners. The marketing program at NAIT is designed to provide students with a practical and immersive learning experience. All courses are project-based, integrating cutting-edge technology and fostering a student-driven approach. By actively engaging in various learning strategies, hands-on tasks, and real-world projects for clients, you will develop the necessary skills to thrive in your future marketing career. This includes working with computer simulations, media creation, and digital marketing techniques.<br><br>Throughout the program, you will complete fifteen core business and marketing courses, which will form the foundation of your knowledge and expertise. Once you have completed these core courses, you will have the opportunity to tailor your education by choosing five electives from a selection of six course options. This flexibility allows you to specialize in one of three Marketing pathways: digital marketing, sales, or marketing communications.<br><br>The Marketing Program's curriculum has been meticulously developed in consultation with industry partners to ensure its relevance and alignment with the demands of the marketing field. By incorporating industry insights and practical applications, NAIT prepares you for a successful transition into the professional world upon graduation.
