Robinson's Ph.D. program in marketing prepares students for careers in teaching and research. Students work with an enthusiastic, research-active faculty with broad interests and excellent contacts among leading firms in a variety of industries. The Department of Marketing's Marketing RoundTable and Sales Executive RoundTable bring leading figures in business and academics to campus. The department houses research centers such as the Center for Business and Industrial Marketing where students and affiliated faculty receive exposure to real-world business problems directly from senior marketing executives. Their research and resulting publications in scholarly journals are embedded in both marketing theory and marketing practice.
